Artwork Description

The inspiration for these two paintings was the 2004 movie ‘The Butterfly Effect’. Both paintings are dominated by waves and butterflies with the most basics of painting (semiotics) language, point, line, plane and colours to express the connections between all things. A small initial change can lead to an unpredictable massive change when amplified over time. So, does the size of the waves have to do with how often butterflies wave their wings?
