This is from a series of works I started called 'Resting Dinghy' or the plural 'Dinghies'.
I love the way they sit amongst the grasses like sun bathers with the trees above offering dappled shade as they look over the water waiting to be put to sea.

I live on the beaches and the the water holds a special place for me and always offers up beautiful vistas to paint.
