Jim Beam with Grande Amore

Inspired by my beautiful garden roses: Grande Amore, a beautiful red rose with well formed medium sized blooms produced on long, single stems. This is a rose is dedicated to love.
This painting is inserted into a pre-cut mat board, with a backing board, a transparent plastic board and a plastic bag to protect the paper. I didn't peel off the 3M tapes from the backing board, so that you can remove the painting from the package without any damage.

Hanbing Lu was born and raised in Shanghai, immigrating to Australia in 2014 where she now lives in Rockhampton as a visual artist and university lecturer. Lu’s artistic education included Western art from a young age, while Chinese traditional art, religion, philosophy, and cultural history have also influenced her, becoming a subconscious element in her creative process. Engaging in diverse practices such as oil painting, Chinese calligraphy and watercolour, Lu explores a blend of techniques coupled with inspiration drawn from the natural beauty of Central Queensland and the diverse cultural influences of the region.
