This oil painting was inspired by the roses I grow in my own garden. Using expressive brushstrokes and a vibrant colour palette, I aimed to capture not just their visual beauty, but also the feeling they evoke. I spend time observing these flowers—how they bloom, how light falls on their petals, how they hold themselves with quiet strength.
Roses have always held a special meaning for me. Their romantic appearance and gentle fragrance speak of tenderness, yet they are remarkably resilient—thriving through seasons, weathering storms. Through this work, I wanted to reflect on that duality: how love, like the rose, can be both delicate and enduring.
