The themes that inspire me whilst creating these art pieces is always the same freedom, self expression and play are at the forefront of my mind whilst creating my artwork. The imagery I use is things I have enjoyed looking at during my life experience partnered with an emotional response I feel, have overcome or are still in the process of overcoming.

This particular piece came from wanting to let go and have fun, i often find myself observing rather than letting go and having fun in the moment. I tried to represent this through the opposite horses one horse wild and free the other watching and observing. My ultimate goal is to let go and be in the moment leaving the past behind and allowing the future to unfold. The only moment we ever have is now. The past no longer exists, and the future is not yet here. Lets enjoy the moment because thats all there ever is, the here and now.

The symbol of the horse can be associated with strength, courage, freedom, heroism, endurance, confidence. They are beautiful majestic animals, growing up in country Victoria i saw alot of these beautiful animals.
