The Enlightened Ones

In today's world, the people who claim to have the most wisdom and understanding, are really hiding from the Truth of life, which shines so brightly around them. Instead of acknowledging this Truth, they hide away in the dark, and feed themselves manure, and pat themselves on the back for their progressive thinking.

There is a small amount of damage to the painting, which happened after the main photo was taken. Two scrapes on the paint, pictured in the last photo.

I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil, meaning I have been refining my own unique art style for the past 26+ years.
In 2018, as well as falling pregnant and giving birth to my daughter, I finished my final year of a Bachelor of Visual Arts, at the University of Sydney. My work there was inspired by the Surrealists, Inka Essenhigh, and the work of Tim Burton, and Walt Disney. I like to explore the realm of the subconscious, and the bizarre, and I get a lot of my inspiration for my current work from the brilliant colours of nature.
While chasing my toddler around, I strive to make art in everything I do on a day to day basis, not just the tangible kind.
