This painting was inspired by the works of Ragnar Kjartansson an Icelandic artist whose 2015 exhibition 'The End - Rocky Mountains' I attended at the Fremantle Art Centre. It was an epic show, with five music channel and video installation in the main gallery. The music and images were very touching. I went home and painted the snow-covered mountains.However, I did not complete the work until this year.
