This beautiful still life is a semi-realistic depiction of flower in a vase, against a striking backdrop. It was painted with gouache on 300gsm paper and is framed in a richly coloured wooden frame. I was inspired by the whimsical and playful nature of the arrangement and believe it will bring that cheerfulness wherever it may go.
