My wife and I travelled through this area at the end of winter. It was a beautifulMy trip with all areas covered in a deep layer of snow with deep ice covering the lakes. We learnt a lot about the local Indians and their way of life. Settlements are really small e.g. this one. The people’s lives revolve around fishing through holes in the ice . They rely on moose through most of the year.
Harold's family travelled extensively in Australia and around it by 4WD and Yacht. After retirement Harold and his wife bought a Motorhome and travelled for 2 years in Canada and the USA. Aft er this they wandered through Africa, Asia, South America and Europe, accumulating a hugh volume of photographic material. Harold came back to his beloved home on the Sunshine Coast and took up painting which quickly grew to a passion, so much so that he paints almost everyday. He loves using bright colours to express his enthusiasm for his big creations.
