Artwork Description

I have always loved tattoos from the mid-1900's in the "american traditional style". I am not a trained artist, but in my time in the Australian Navy I used drawing as a way to relax. Having mild ADHD and dyslexia I found drawing relaxing and allowed me to stop thinking and escape. I used to draw tattoo's and then shirt design for my fellow ship mates, and then I got more into exploring with painting acrylics (whish I wasn't good at) and finally landed on paint pens. I have adapted my style over the years and this is where it is currently at. I like black ad white design as I am terrible at colour theory and I like patterns, lines and dots a lot more.

Artist Bio

Royal Australian Navy Veteran with a passion for black and white line are in a variation of American traditional tattoo's. I have no formal art training, but I have been drawing an painting the past 12 years or so, including murals on military ships, grey undershirts (a way for sailors to customise the military uniform that isn't seen unless the uniform jacket is removed) as well as Ukers boards and mess artworks.
