Artist Bio

Heather Faulkner is a queer transmedia documentary storyteller and photo media artist. She holds a PhD from Queensland College of Art, Griffith University and a Masters of Screen Production degree at the Griffith Film School.
Her work focuses on outsider culture and the contributing concepts of identity, belonging and place.
She lives and works in Brisbane with her wife Luisa and precocious pup, Frida the bichon frise.
