I recently moved and found a box of vintage Pelican books. I'd forgotten all about them, as I'd had them packed up for years. Some of the covers were stained with coffee and spilled ink and were generally in poor condition. I read the titles and thought how totally out of date they were. I couldn't help playing with the titles and adding a little satire.
