Artwork Description

This painting is about the strength passed down through generations. Generation trauma is spoken about so often, but we need to remember the good being passed down. I’ve painted the golden line with circles to represent the wisdom, strength and love being passed down from one generation to the next. The three people symbols represent a mother and her children, they are sitting by a body of water which represents emotional healing and cleansing.

Artist Bio

I’m a Wangkatha and Ballardong/Wadjuk woman from Western Australia, and I’ve been painting since 2018. Over the years, I’ve developed a contemporary style that’s bright, bold, and deeply personal.

Art has been a healing journey for me. It brings me peace and allows me to express beauty especially during times when I couldn’t always see it around me. Each piece I create is a reflection of that healing process and a celebration of colour, culture, and connection.

I hope my artwork brings you not only joy, but also a sense of healing, as it has done for me.
