After a successful 30+ year career within the Technology sector, it was the need to de-stress from her corporate leadership role that resulted in Heidi picking up a paintbrush and she’s never looked back!
A lifelong obsessive of natural organic interior design and synergised colour, Heidi was originally inspired to paint colourful, vibrant artworks to enhance the large walls within her own home. Interest was then sparked amongst friends and family and now her home and life enhancing works can be found adorning the walls of beach houses and luxury homes along the East Coast of Australia.
Heidi’s work is focused on large colour synergies evoked from fond memories that conjure up warm feelings of joy, happiness and contentment which bring a sense of tranquillity to their surroundings. Using archival standard acrylics, Heidi prides herself on creating works that are clearly original pieces, due to the textural nature and movement found within her multi-layered works.
Originally from the UK, Heidi has resided in both Brisbane and now on the stunning Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia for the last 15 years and is hugely inspired by the awe & wonder of the tropical beauty of the beaches and bush-land that surround her, which comes through solidly in her work.
