This is where I have ended up, it got even darker and I ended up washing the whole days work off with turps and then mixed a random colour, I was thinking it cant get any worse...and it did!
Not every thing is resolved and can be completed, I cannot finish this because I no longer know what the painting is about.
I will let it dry and take it off the stretcher and may be see if I can make it work on a smaller scale.
