Helen Andrade is a multimedia artist who often uses acrylic paint, oil stick, ink and felt tip markers. Her work is held in many collections around Australia and overseas. Helen's work has a striking balance between abstraction and form very effectively creating emotion and energy.
Helen's artworks explore the notion of natural beauty and celebrate spirituality and human emotions. “Colour is a strong motivation for me in the creative process, and I enjoy the effect of bold colour and textural work. I enjoy the spontaneity of working from observation and delving into my imagination.” She is influenced by Expressionists, Impressionists and Abstract Expressionists
She has been a passionate artist for over 30 years and has completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Distinction)
