This piece explores the complexity of identity and the beauty of self-expression through gesture and mood. Each form, rendered in a distinct medium, holds its own energy: bold magenta ink asserts presence, charcoal softens and dissolves, while frenetic blue and red lines pulse with movement. Some marks are deliberate, others instinctive, allowing the figure to emerge and recede—never fully fixed, always in flux. The textured surface of this beautiful paper catches and resists the marks, adding a raw tactile quality.. Through these layered impressions, the work captures the ever-shifting nature of selfhood, where identity is not a single moment but a continuous act of becoming.
