Artist Bio

Born in Sydney, Australia.
All artworks are original and come with a signed certificate of authenticity.
I paint on canvas using quality acrylic paints, mediums and mixed media. Including recycled, vintage and handmade papers.
My work is recognised for its bold use of colour, line and vibrancy.
I studied Visual Arts officially in ChristChurch, New Zealand. Later furthering my visual arts study at Boxhill TAFE in Melbourne, Australia, before going overseas to live in Hong Kong for nearly two decades.
In Asia I cofounded the first of my three studio galleries, Studio2 along with a studio I wanted to foster local artistic community and make art more accessible to others. Encouraging fellow creatives to follow their dreams, tutoring art classes, hosting art demonstrations, talks, running community events, curating exhibitions, art fundraisers and finding time where possible for my own practise.
Exhibiting (& curating) regularly, my work is in both private & coporate collections both here and internationally.
In 2020 I made finalist in the BelleArtStart exhibition, Burwood Art Prize and Fisher’s Ghost Art Prize at CAC city gallery.
2021 has found my work selected for public art, Burwood council flags, also exhibiting as a finalist in a group shows with RQAS Brisbane for the Harold & Agnes drawing prize, at CAC gallery with the friends & focus Exhibtion, the ‘Fifty x Fifty’ Brunswick Street Gallery exhibition Melbourne, Victoria
