Number two in a small series of three. I meet with other Artists to draw and paint, once a fortnight. Occasionally , by osmosis we paint the same theme. I was influenced by their work to paint flowers. I love flowers. I also got to use my shape that my work is known for. Black is a favourite colour and these pictures allowed me to express myself.

Artwork Description
Artist Bio
I use watercolour mainly and enjoy good papers to paint on. I have been working with Textiles for many years too. Sometimes I marry Textile and Painting. My full CV is on my website. I exhibit regularly, either solo or with other artists. I have become recognised as “ the Iconlady” because of a particular shape I use regularly in my work. This shape has become my blank page. I started using this shape in Doll making days. I am not an Icon painter…
My work is individual, original and idiosyncratic my desire is to make pictures that resonate and buyers want to display in their own homes. The interpretation is always with the viewer. I try to put all my work on my web site. I mainly work in size range of A3 to 60x73 cm. Pictures can be framed or Unframed, transport being the consideration here.
