Artwork Description

The Centre of attention, a magnificent protea is the center of attention, it's intense magenta colour and its unique shape is emphasized by the interesting foliage and flowers that surround it. Native Australian flowers are the perfect back drop to the protea. This painting is a celebration of the diverse flowers a foliage that are available to everyone. I used oil paint to capture the beautiful colours of these plants and their subtle colour changes. This painting would enhance any room, it's beautiful colours and subject matter would suit any decor.
