I have drawn, painted, and artistically explored with many mediums my whole life. I am mostly self taught, but am in the process of completing a diploma. I enjoy creating works with colour, humour and exploring expression through bold abstract interpretations and letting go the rules!
Recently I have enjoyed working with pastels and colour pencils, doing pet portraits and animal art, trying to capture expressions and character with life like and intricate details. The discipline in creating this genre of work contradicts with the loose and relaxed style I also enjoy. Its great to alternate and challenge myself as an artist.
My work is an outlet to experiment and relax, play, create and have fun.
