This is the second artwork in my Lavender Haze Collection featuring colours of gelato.

I have painted many lavender fields, inspired by a local lavender farm at the foot of the Great Dividing Range, just outside of Brisbane.

Paintings capturing memories of weddings and special occasions, when the fields are filled with lilacs, lavender and sunshine are always a joy to paint.

Beautiful days spent up country, surrounded by the lavender haze of the purple fields, the perfume released by the essential oils of the flowers and the bees!

The countryside has a romance about it on these days, with far ranges a beautiful distant backdrop to the view.

My lavender artwork is now framed in Victorian Ash, which is lighter than Tasmanian Oak, with a slightly pink natural grain that enhances the colours here.
