There is something very special about a round artwork…it creates like a window into a landscape. Spring has arrived and the first day of Spring this year is National Wattle Day.
It is a day celebrating our National Floral Emblem, the native wattle tree.
I have painted the countryside, just outside of Brisbane where wattles grow along untouched steep ridges and hillsides and flower in late Winter and early Spring.
