Helen Andrew is a Brisbane based artist who works in a variety of art medias including painting, photography, installation and print media. Helen holds a Bachelor of Visual Art (Fine Art) from Queensland University of Technology, and with great excitement she has recently started creating art
full time now that her children have both started school.
Helen has participated in various group and solo exhibitions as well as winning first prize in the Ipswich Art Awards for her photography.
A principal theme in Helen’s work is both the transient nature of life and the interconnectedness of life forms. This interest extends to exploring concepts of people and culture as well as the changes in our physical environment.
