Renee is a Melbourne based floral artist.
Her work explores how flowers act as a symbol of emotional connection to a time, place or person.
Ice, a traditional preservation tool of nature, acts as vehicle to suspend flowers to a moment and captures the interplay between flowers (earth), light refraction, air and water.
She explores the juxtaposition between flowers’ organic form and the structure they are confined within, then documents each blooms’ unique fingerprint through macro photography.
