I am a Melbourne based floral artist - Fleuressence

My work explores how flowers act as a symbol of emotional connection to a time, place or person.

Ice, a traditional preservation tool of nature, acts as vehicle to suspend flowers to a moment and captures the interplay between flowers (earth), light refraction, air and water.

I explore the juxtaposition between flowers’ organic form and the structure they are confined within, then document each blooms’ unique fingerprint through macro photography.
