About

I have always been creative, enjoying to draw since 3 years old. However, art wasn't a prominent part of my life until my forties after several challenging and tragic family events occurred. I then went on to complete certificate I, II, and IV at TAFE and I haven't looked back since.

I currently paint using oils and acrylic and draw in graphite and ink and am also a sculptor and printmaker. I continue to attend workshops to learn new techniques and be inspired by new ideas which I combine with the images my trusty camera captures in my everyday life. I absolutely love colour and to represent the play of light in my works, enjoying to see the image come to life and develop depth, capturing a moment in time. When painting portraits, I get a real buzz when I've captured the essence of the person.
