I have recently started a series of botanicals with native Australian birds. Pictured in this print is a pair of Major Mitchells originally painted in acrylics on a mixed media board.
This is a limited Edition Print of 50 prints

Artist Bio

Heylie is best known for her colourful Australian wildlife paintings, incorporating acrylic & oils into her work as she dances the line between abstract & realism art. More recently exploring the mixed media side of art, you will find bright bold new works incorporating the continual love of birds & wildlife whilst introducing powerful female images and symbolic animals. She creates imagery that pushes the colour boundaries of more traditional works by exploring untraditional colour palettes.
Heylie has been in the screen printing industry for over 19 years, owner & managing director of Paragon Screen Printing as her current full time business position.

She featured in Stolen Publications, completed a RAW Arts Melbourne Exhibition in 2015, Collaborated with major Australian brand CottonOn for the Vixen Designs X CottonOn Tee series. Publications in "Artist Palette" magazine (front cover) 2017, "Cockatoo" Book by Thames & Hudson 2017 (front cover), Stolen Publications 2015/16/17, Artist for Greeting card company Earth Greetings 2017- Current. First Prize winner in the 2018 & 2019 Casterton Art Show for wildlife. Heylie has a CERT 3 in textile production, CERT 4 in Visual Arts & recently completed the Mastery Program with Milan Art Institute. Her works are currently sold all across Australia & worldwide!
