Born and raised in Japan, my earliest memories are defined by a pencil in hand. Though I have been drawing since I was a child, moving to Sydney opened my eyes to a completely new world of color and form. I fell in love with Australia—not just as a place to live, but as an endless source of inspiration.
The unique wildlife, the vibrant flora, and the raw beauty of the Australian bush continue to amaze me every day. Through my art, I aim to translate that sense of wonder onto the page. When I draw a bird or a native flower, I am sharing a piece of my heart and the way I see the world. My work is an invitation to pause and appreciate the delicate, wild beauty that surrounds us here in my adopted home.
