Artwork Description

"What Remains Within" is a conceptual landscape that explores the profound connection between human life, memory, and the land. At first glance, a young girl stands in a vast, vibrant green field under a clear blue sky, gazing toward a solitary tree. But the dark, quiet water below reveals a deeper truth: the reflection shows her future self as an elderly woman, looking at a large tree that grew old together.
The water acts as a mirror through time, bridging the present and the future. It speaks to how the landscapes we inhabit witness our growth, holding onto our history while quietly guiding us toward who we will become.
This piece is a gentle invitation to reflect on the passage of time, the roots that ground us, and the beautiful, invisible threads that connect our past, present, and future selves.
