Artwork Description

In this artwork, I repeatedly wrote the word “fish” in Persian and also drew fish at the top and bottom of the page. Red and navy blue are two colors that are commonly seen in Iranian carpets. I can say that this entire artwork is inspired by Persian culture

Artist Bio

Hoda is an Iranian-born artist whose work beautifully bridges the worlds of traditional Farsi calligraphy and contemporary visual art. With a profound respect for her cultural heritage and a passion for visual expression, she has developed a distinctive artistic voice that resonates across cultures and generations.

Hoda holds a bachelor’s degree and has spent years refining her technique in Persian calligraphy, mastering the delicate rhythm and elegance of this ancient art form. What sets her apart, however, is her innovative fusion of calligraphic tradition with modern artistic elements—bold colors, abstract compositions, and expressive brushwork. This fusion results in striking pieces that are both rooted in history and alive with contemporary energy.

Her work is deeply influenced by her love for color and texture. With every brushstroke, Hoda brings emotion and meaning to the canvas, using ink and pigment not just to write words, but to tell stories, evoke memories, and celebrate beauty. Her creative process is intuitive and emotional, guided by the interplay between form, color, and the written word.
Through exhibitions, workshops, and social media, Hoda continues to share her unique vision with a growing audience, inspiring others to find harmony between tradition and innovation in their own creative journeys.
