Abstract impressionism and expressionism is my creative passion. I love the freedom of interpretation.
Born in Western Australia and currently residing in Mandurah, WA,, I have been painting and exhibiting my art since 2003.
The majority of my childhood was spent growing up in the Northern Territory. The rich culture, vibrant colours and organic sculptures of the landscape are imbedded into my creative psyche - influencing the forms and colour palette in my work.
I have been a lover of all things creative from a young age. My creative journey began and flourished in the field of graphic design.
Being quite an introspective person, the yearning to convey my memories and love for nature artistically was eminent. I found myself drawn to expressing these in an abstract form, thus developing my own impressionistic style of painting.
My organic / abstract impressionistic style reflects my love for nature and it's beautiful arboreal sculptures and rock formations. I hold a deep appreciation for the Wiradjuri and Yorta Yorta cultures of my two beautiful children - providing me with endless inspiration.
I also love sharing the most beautiful scenery I have experienced whilst exploring our spectacular Australian landscapes.
