WP.02 is the second piece in a series of large scale oil paintings that uses colours found in Wilson Promontory National Park to impart mental rest. It’s colours are vibrant and diverse, just like Wilson Prom’s landscape.
The inspiration to create this painting was born out of a need for mental rest and rejuvenation. So often I leave the city to achieve this. This change of context allows a sort of detachment to current stressors, even if that be for just a short moment. I wanted a way to create this feeling whilst staying within the confines of a city. And so ‘WP.02’ born.
