I used 'water colour on canvas, using Daniel Smith Ground'. Influence: My inspiration for the art piece was turquoise and indigo cool hues, a contrast to the dry Queensland read earth. Fascinated by its fibonacci pattern and the cooling and medicinal qualities of this super-powered succulent. This piece adds a calm injection of colour.
Holly is an artist Based on the Sunshine Coast. She is constantly experimenting but has a deep love for watercolour and ink. She studied Graphic Design and the moving image at The Surrey and Cumbria Institute of Art and Design Hollys figurative work stems from her love for life drawing otherwise nature, botanical and illustration. Hollys Passionate about teaching watercolour also, fascinated by the therapeutic impact of a creative practice. Commissions available.
