Inspired by the stunning colours of wildlife, these beautiful red parrots are painted with acrylic on a gallery wrapped canvas encased in a 6 cm deep floating wood frame. Vibrant reds have been loosely blended to form the feathers which feature visible brush strokes. Texture has also been created by using texture paste around the face and beaks, adding dimension and depth. These textural elements, along with the vivid red tones, look striking against the smooth flat background painted in a beautiful lagoon colour.
