My artwork explores the human spirit through horses and birds
I love to give animals a human personification, to allow us to stand away from our own human condition to see it best.

I use multi layered backgrounds which are created intuitively after dense research on a topic (currently researching cultural difference in ideologies of 'Afterlife') I am attracted to rich colour and textures and I always include scrawled handwritten text of my own writing in my work.

I have been painting my entire life. My father being an artist and gallery owner, taught me to paint when I was 5 years old, so naturally painting has always been my one true pursuit in life.

I live in the hills of the Mid North Coast of NSW, with my man, my two daughters, my horses, dogs, cat and pet jersey cow.

I begun exhibiting in 2002 while studying my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Melbourne and has exhibited nationally and internationally for the last 15 years.

Currently studying my Masters in Creative Industries creating Illustrated memoirs.
