The Big Blue

Continuing to explore the relationship between us and water I have put both the subject and the viewer under water. By looking upwards we get the ocean depth to the heavens above, with our swimmer in between, so the image contains so much, and yet so little.

Mainly working with oils I like to keep the canvas simple, usually with one or two people in a sparse urban landscape.
