Artwork Description

‘Congruence’ is about industrial society’s lost connection with the natural world and the imperative of aligning our actions to coexist with the natural world if we are to pull ourselves out of the continual chain of crises we face as a species. It contrasts the mechanisms that drive the organisation of the human world with the organic fluidity of nature. Drawn with nib and fibre tip pen on textured watercolour paper.

Before settling in in Tasmania he travelled extensively with his family and in his former role as a geologist and environmental scientist in the UK, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Australia.
