My journey into painting began in 2007 with a class in botanical watercolour at the Ku-ring-gai Art Centre in Sydney. I continued painting with this medium and subject matter for four years before exploring classes in abstract acrylic and drawing.
In 2014, after an operation to repair my damaged thumb, I started open studio classes at Meadowbank TAFE, which I still attend. That same year I started painting with oil on canvas, which I continue to the present.
