ian shedley - raised in south west of wa from 1961 and moved to perth during my high school years.
started my own signwriting company in 1988 and have been painting signs and murals ever since.
i have a few different styles of art work including abstracts, pop art, landscapes and seascapes (dedicated to my life long passion in surfing).
ive made may timber sculptures and done hebel carvings as well.
im also a musician and have been playing drum kits for about 15 years and play and make my own didgeridoos, selling them here and overseas.
im not one to enter art comps much, but i did win a canning art prize in 2001 for a funky pop art painting i did called 'beach party'.
painting is my biggest passion and im now travelling australia, selling my art and painting signs and murals along the way.
past resident artist at metamorphosis art gallery... also teach in the beginners painting classes i offer.
i only paint the things that make me happy. bright, bold, colourful designs is what im all about.
i love it so much, and i know ill still be painting right up until the very end of my days!
