Ignacio Marin is an Argentine painter based on the Gold Coast, working mainly in oil on canvas. His work looks at the everyday — objects, streets, hinterland edges — through the eye of someone who arrived from somewhere else. Familiar scenes are painted slightly off, slightly strange.
