This type of art for me is created based on emotion. Each layer applied is defined by the previous layer. The aim is always to create a balance of elements which really are quite random and unplanned.

Hi there.
I am a Melbourne based artist I have been painting since I was about three years old. (Yes, my mother still has my very first painting on canvas in a little gold frame). The desire to paint and create is part of my DNA. Whilst I have enjoyed experimenting with different mediums and subject matter over the years, my focus has largely been portraiture and abstract . I love painting portraits of women whose features and personal stories inspire me. These paintings seek to highlight each woman's natural beauty and life story.
