This is a painting of the gorgeous Winniy. She is a woman who I met in Melbourne CBD one day and we became friends. There was something so special about her, I had to ask if she would allow me to paint her. We spent a long time trying on various outfits and accessories until we found the perfect combination to help me create this art work. I am so grateful for meeting this beautiful soul. Hi there.
I am a Melbourne based artist I have been painting since I was about three years old. (Yes, my mother still has my very first painting on canvas in a little gold frame). The desire to paint and create is part of my DNA. Whilst I have enjoyed experimenting with different mediums and subject matter over the years, my focus has largely been portraiture and abstract . I love painting portraits of women whose features and personal stories inspire me. These paintings seek to highlight each woman's natural beauty and life story.
