Artwork Description

Standing on the beaches of the Great Ocean Road, I watched the rugged cliffs cascade downward in bold, vertical formations — teal sea cutting through golden grasses, vast sky pressing down above. That moment of raw coastal awe became Blue Cascade.

Painted in thick, expressive impasto, every ridge and stroke mirrors the geological drama of the cliffs themselves — built up layer by layer, just as the coastline was shaped over millennia. The palette of cerulean, burnt orange, golden yellow, and deep charcoal captures the unfiltered energy of one of Australia's most iconic drives.

A statement piece that commands a wall and fills a room with movement.
