Artwork Description

Soft stripes of rose and sand drift across the canvas like memories of a summer afternoon. A gentle cluster of beach umbrellas rises from a mist of pale pinks and whites, as if caught between sunlight and dream. Hints of warm yellow glow beneath the surface, evoking the quiet shimmer of heat on the shore.
This painting invites the viewer into a calm, suspended moment—where time slows, colours soften, and the hazy beauty of seaside days lingers just long enough to be felt.

Artist Bio

Irene is an Italian visual artist whose paintings are inspired by the places she has lived and the memories they hold.
She works primarily with acrylic and oil on canvas, and watercolour on paper, combining layered textures and expressive colours.
Irene studied Fine Arts at the University of Ravenna in Italy, with additional studies in mosaics and etching , and spent a year at the University of Bilbao, Spain, where she worked at the Guggenheim museum.
Her work has been exhibited in several venues in Brighton, England, and she now lives on the Mornington Peninsula where she continues to explore the connection between landscapes and memory though colour and light.
