I was born in Tallinn (Estonia), beautiful medieval city on Baltic Sea. Since 2002 live and work in Australia. This wonderful country inspired me to create and find new ideas and experiments. But my hometown and medieval Europe have become the favourite theme of my paintings. In my artworks I try to show character and mood of old towns and create small stories of their past.
I prefer to use deep shades of acrylic and mix realism with my imagination and elements of fairy-tales.
In my works, I invite visitors to walk along the narrow streets, listen to the music of antiquity and imagine the life of cities of the past centuries.
