Artwork Description

The story of this print began with a love and admiration for the season of the blooming golden wattle. While some species of acacia bloom at different times throughout the year, most reach their peak in August-September, when fluffy yellow clouds of flowers decorate parks, gardens, and roads everywhere.

The wattle flowers are truly stunning, and a unique element of this art print is the very rare 'Scarlet Blaze' wattle, which was first discovered in a park in Melbourne just 30 years ago. This stunning Red Wattle is blooming in September, so getting it from the florists and combining it with other species took about a few weeks. The flower composition consists of 11 species and looks so realistic that it creates a natural 3D effect. And it seems like you'll be able to smell the sweet cinnamon scent of the fluffy yellow clouds any moment now.

The most challenging moment of working on this project is to keep all the wattle blooms fresh and vibrant while creating a composition. Sometimes I should change some branches quickly; lucky me, I have two wattle trees in my backyard.

The print not only showcases the beauty of each flower but also captures the essence of the wattle tree as a whole. This fine art print is more than just a beautiful representation of wattle flowers; it celebrates nature and the joy it brings. The photo brings brightness and warmth to any room, inspiring those who see it to appreciate the simple beauty of the world around them.

Artist Bio

Hi, I’m Irina — a Fine Artist and Photographer with over 20 years of experience in still life, travel, and landscape photography. My art is inspired by nature and flowers, and my goal is to bring joy, harmony, and beauty into your home.

My passion for flowers began in childhood, during a summer internship where I learned to grow, dry, and arrange them. This love has grown into a professional journey, now embodied in my floral brand, Eclectic Botanica. Through it, I explore diverse themes in nature with series like Herbarium (celebrating botanical elegance) and Colourful Wings (blending flowers and birds in vibrant harmony).

I’m honoured to have received several prestigious awards, including the Bluethumb Art Prize, Unearthed Art Prize, and The EPSON International Pano Awards. These awards inspire me to continue exploring and pushing boundaries in my work. Each piece of my art is crafted with care, from brainstorming and trial shoots to meticulous post-production and printing on premium materials. My collections are designed to enhance spaces, inspire happiness, and feel deeply personal to each viewer.

Thank you for being part of this journey. I’m excited to share my work with you! 💫✨
