Sweet Infusion is a watercolour still life inspired by quiet, everyday rituals. I was drawn to the way light passes through glass and liquid, softening colour and allowing warmth to build from within. The steeping tea, the raspberries, and the jar of preserved fruit sit together in a moment of stillness — fresh and held, fleeting and lasting.
Working in watercolour allows me to explore transparency, gentle transitions, and atmosphere. I let the pigments move and settle naturally, keeping edges soft and shadows warm, so the scene remains calm and unhurried. This painting is about slowing down, noticing small details, and finding beauty in simple moments that often pass unnoticed.
