"Remembering the Legacy" named new exhibition in the Nan Tien Temple.
The Buddhist temples are designed to symbolize five elements: fire, air, water, earth and wisdom.
The Buddha teaches us the importance of always remembering impermanence – the ever-changing, coming and going, never-quite-certain nature of things. He knew that if we really took the teaching of impermanence to heart, then almost everything else he taught would become clearer.
The future — received from our past, the way that we tend to use the word legacy today! We have to remembering where we from, history of our previous generation and our culture, without that we can’t create a happy future for the next generation.
