Hello, my name is Iryna Galemina I live in Melbourne. I started painting when I was six years old in an art studio in Ukraine.
Later when I was ten, I went to an art school where I continued my journey to classical art.
In my works I am trying to capture and express the beauty of nature around us, the beauty of movement and stillness, the beauty of light and colours.
I manly work with Oil and Acrylic paint. I have degrees in Graphic Design and Economics and my background is interior and furniture design, I gained Australian education of Advanced Diploma in Building Design in Melbourne.
I have always loved art and inspired by world famous artists like Vincent van Gogh and Salvador Dali as well as Ukrainian artists like Kateryna Bilokur and Maria Prymachenko. Since 2017 I returned to my art hobby and continued to explore the beautiful world of art and painting. For my future art works I am planning to learn more about art history and old master’s technics and implement them in my paintings.
